Quite a few guys over here in the UK are using geared Z38s for the 1/3 scale WW1 models, they turn a 32x18 prop, (just about scale for these birds) :) and fly them so well, they tickover at 500rpm.

Hmmm, I know what you mean about the exchange rate, but my modelling budget comes from my euro account.
