I was looking at the slide show yesterday on this thread and saw a few things you did that I really liked and will be doing on my 1/4 scale DR 1

It's me again just was seeing if there was a way to get away from the metal Ail tips.
Also has anybody ever balanced the flight controls on these models? I am a retired Aircraft Mechanic...

Thanks for the quick answer. I have used Solortex and stits, found stits labor intenstive and toxic using poly-tone and tac.
Pocket book will hold me to the 1/4 scale DR-1 when it comes...
