This a great jet to transition from an Elan. In some ways it’s probably easier to fly then the Elan! As far as the finish goes, I have mentioned it in a past post. For the price I feel that the...

As I’ve mentioned I think it’s important to consider the cost of this jet compared to its competitors. It’s FAR less then the competition, so this is to be expected. To demand perfection at this...

Sorry for the delay, here are a few pictures with the tape sealing the gaps. It’s pretty hard to see that there’s tape on there. It’s a little more tricky on the bottom side, but not difficult. ...

I would judge it by how it flies inverted more then how much up trim is showing. My elevator looks to be 2-3mm up, however it doesn’t need much down input when inverted.

Mine also has some inconstant gaps on the stab. I used clear duct tape to seal the gaps. Over 100 flights and no problems. I figure this jet is much less expensive then others, so some...

Very nice paint!

1. Are the factory servos all HV servos? Prefer straight 2s lipo over regulated voltage. - depends on which version. 20AH are high voltage and 20AL are not. You can find that...

I put about 100 flights on my turbine ready version and the servos are working great. I found the flaps could use a little more power, but they work just fine. I am very satisfied with the Pilot...

Since this is my first turbine I a few questions:
1. What size turbine 120, 140, or 170?

I fly mine with a 140 (Cheetah 140, so more like a 150) and I find it perfect. No residual thrust to deal...

Servos

I’ve been using the Pilot servos that came with the turbine ready thrust vectoring version. I have about 75 -100 flights so far and no problems at all. Has been my most reliable plane all summer.

I’m sure it will fly fine with a 100, but depending on what kind of vertical your looking for, a 100 may not be sufficient. With fuel it’s just over 30 lbs. (with the 4.6l fuel tank) so a 100 will...
