Looks good, except, I would put a U-strap around the pulley as in real aircraft or the cables will come off do to expansion/elongation from the tension and heat.

Del, It looks good. The crosses were hand painted away. Just touch up with a fine brush, it will look authentic.

I think sometimes we over idealize the work that was done on the finish of these planes. The streaking was done fast and cheap. The brush was loaded with paint pulled in one swipe on...

The front is the hardest to find a good photo of. Here is an 1/8 frontal photo of Fred's Dr.1. You can make out the front sheet metal piece. It just follows the wings leading edge and has a flange...
