I have a new in box reduction unit for the g62 from England( cant remember the name) that I was going to use on mine but went with a DL 100 instead(grossly overpowered). This would make a...

Casting is of a resin and cloth. Very light but seems sturdy and Should hold up. Cant remember diameter but it is 1/3 scale and fits perfectly under the cowl.

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

I'm using the DL 100 on mine. A twin is a good choice, less vibration and the cylinders will be mostly in the cowl. I chose a large twin so I could swing a larger more scale prop. A 28x10 will be my...

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

Thanks Guys,
Like doing the rib stitching, I'm really back and forth on wrapping the fuselage. Does it make a "nice touch" and really look good, or does it really need to show on a 1\3 scale model?...

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

Hi Del.

Couple of questions if I can. Do you think it was worth the effort to wrap the fuselage with the string before covering, is the covering sticking to it, and does the detail come through...

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

Del,

That DR1 is just outstanding. Only thing is... It needs a pilot. Have you thought about getting one? The only one out there that would do your triplane right is Axels scale pilots from...

Del,

Yes, Tygon is the yellow tubing. It is available in SM, M, and L diameters. You can use the med. but Large is the prefered.

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

Hi Del,

Last thing I want to do is try telling you what to do. Your fuel lines? Your pinching them between the cable ties and the tank. The neoprene lines are not the best choice in fuel lines....

RE: Glenn Torrence (GTM) 1/3 Scale Dr.1 Build Along

Hi Del,
