Must be the Dr1 - I did exactly the same thing on takeoff under same conditions at Warbirds over Delaware this year. Tore out LG strut and interplane strut mount. All repaired now and flying...

Sorry to have missed HDP this year - couldn't be helped. From your pics, looks like the field was as bad as last year? I will be flying my 1/3 Weiss Dr1 at Rhinebeck though!
