Craig,

I've documented the sheet metal on the GAAM 1:1 scale build,  there are a few detailed photos therte of how the sheet metal should look.

Craig,

The later airplanes are not Blue under the Olive color. they are streaked over the bare varnished linen.
Check out the procedure we used for the streaking on our full size 454/17 here to...

To Clarify Del,
The full size triplane has small webs kind of like "Ribs" throughout the center of the spar box for extra strength and light weight stiffness. i can see from the pics that is not...

does the spar use the small ply cross braces inside like the original?
