2.2m predator

I set ail/elev to triple rates, 35%, 55% and 90% of throw. I like middle rate best. I dont used flaps less then full. Full for landing and full for low speed pass. Expo set 30% low/mid, 40% on high.

Uat full, gear down, 1" fuel in tank. Get a digital kitchen scale, move batteries till you get 26 to 32oz on nose wheel. Flaps 50 degrees down for landing. All 5 of my predators same.

The latest I have has hidden bolts to attach wings, no more cinch pins, i also have a one piece fuselage. Tank and uat separate. The rubber tank stopper is crap. 2 of mine had the 3rd hole open and...

I can only assume all 5 of my predator which had the exact cg to each other, never had an elevator up problem, must have been correct for me....

Never had an issue with trim up elevator on 5 predators, wonder who started that.

The box for 1 piece fuselage is super long.

Wings attach with bolts from LE and TE by flaps into blind nuts in fuselage. On TE, fill in the area on flap so bolt does not get trapped in end of flap....

Mine sucked air on takeoff, i was able to come around and land, it was maiden. Had a similar air being sucked on my 3rd predator. Put in a MAP UAT.

i use SAVOX 1230MG 500oz on both my 2 2 predators. $72. Uses futaba arms.​​​​​

Wing tube

This wing tube is super thick, thicker then I've seen on my giant scale 40%ers. Also the oak dowel is a tough wood. Im not flying 3d or super high g turns, I think this mod will serve me well and...

Not liking just a wing clamp to hold wings on. I ran an oak dowel thru tube, the tapped tube for a safety bolt underneath. Will add larger washer under bolt to spread load on fiberglass skin.
