I miss those IMAA days also . Lots of fun !!! With reference to the Nosen P51 I agree most flew on a G62 or 4.2 sachs .
My long gone friend Drake Edwards from here in NC flew his with a 12.6...

I hope someone else can contribute also but.... I have seen it attempted many many many years ago and ended with a failed maiden flight . I dont remember the AUW or prop speeds but it was screeming...
