Default Road wheels with sealed bearings for Taigen panzer IV?

Just purchased this Taigen Panzer 4 from my local hobby shop. Great detail, awesome functions love the looks. Been running it every day since I got it and already bought a 3000 mah battery as the stock ones only get me 7-8 minutes of run time. I can tell already that some parts will be needing replacement( upgrades) I already notice play on the drive wheels and gear box. Road wheels doesn’t have bearings in them which is a disappointment. Is there road wheels with sealed bearings available for this Taigen Panzer 4? I figure that would be my first upgrade then upgrade the gearbox when it’s finally worn out.

Did you get the plastic or metal Edition? Does it have a lift off top, or do you have to take screws out of the bottom to get the top off?

I have the metal edition. Latch on the bottom, whole top comes off.

Hello,

the PZIII is the same problem. Very much wobble on the axles. I offered something a while ago.
By the way, it does not always have to be ball bearings, sintered bronze bushings can handle more punches than thin ball bearings.

The company MK-Modellbau offers the conversion to ball bearings for customers, could be a bit expensive.

with kind regards,Guido

Thank you for the tip and info. I had thought about bronze bushings as well. Now, I need to find a source for them bushings and bore out the inner wheel for the bushings.
