I started building my predator and found the quality to be sub par and the service from Chief not what I would consider good.

first the model was wrapped in packing foam before the model’s paint was dry. The foam was stuck on the paint. When I told chief aircraft about this they “oh we will tell Tony about his QC”

second the the right wing and rudder did not have the graphics as advertised by chief aircraft. When I asked if they could send me the graphics or could I buy them they said “no we can’t just call an RC graphics company to get some”.

I have placed many many orders with Chief and this is the first time I have had an issue. I just think Chief should have shown me more concern for customer service. Maybe I am just use to the service I get from Dreamworks, Elite Aersports, and BVM.

I hope it flys better than it looks!!!!

I am sorry for this issue. I will talk with chief about this.
about the graphics on the right wing and rudder , chief ask me do not put the graphics on it when they order from me. so it is different from my other predator. I can send you the drawing if you want so you can get it.

by the way, if you have any question. you can email me. my email is [email protected]

thanks.

Hi Dave
Which colours do you have in stock?
I have air retracts that will fit very good, if you have without.
But I also interested if you have with retracts to.

The extra tray is used for mounting batteries or what ever under the main tray. That’s what I used mine for, cut it half and mounted 2 reciever batteries on one and on the other mounted the ECU and retract battery.

My balanced nose heavy with a JetCat 160 RXI, mine with batteries forward 2 in front of last former before nose gear and 2 behind. Had to move my batteries as far back as possible under main tray.
Simple though, just check CG as you go, before permanent mounting..

One last thing the hinge line on my flaps were extremely stiff. I slowly worked them down and back up. Other than that, simple and straight forward...
