Here's a runway shot. By the way, knife edges are very good, no coupling and doesn't need too much throttle or rudder.

Mine and my mates predators turned up here in the uk today, we were expecting the latest updated two part fuselage but no!! Is yours the 2.2 predator?

dccatl,
How many Predators were at Super Jet South this year? How many flights did you get with your Predator?

Only one other besides mine but it didn't fly, was up for sale. I flew mine 10 times over the 4 days, I now have 27 flights total on it.

For the nose-wheel, it will stick out the bottom about 6mm as mine is exactly level with the bottom of the fuse, in fact the knuckle of the oleo strut protrudes about 1-2 mm on mine. I think there's enough clearance inside for your 75mm wheel when retracted though, you'll have to work out where to mount a pull-pull cable for the steering as the stock gear uses a direct drive servo.

The main gear actuators should fit in the pockets, here're some more pictures with a ruler:

i didn’t notice your nose gear had a servo mount, I thought it was a pull-pull cable. In any case you’ll know if the fit tomorrow, good luck.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this thread and I'm excited about all the great reviews about the predator. I'm (we're) looking to possibly purchase 3 of these (me, my father, and friend) and wanted to get some info regarding current wait times from the factory? Any help is appreciated!

Chief usually order by container. so it take a little long time. but it is more fast once they have in stock. because if you order from the factory, the factory produce after you make order. but once chief has in stock. you can get it immediately.

i like the smoke tank option too. i got tony to send me one for mine.. very nice plane with super finish...the 2 part fuse is for lower shipping costs due to box size.. mine from chief is solid fuse..

no fear ordering direct with tony.. great service and you get latest mods and hardware.

I'm in...picked up the Black/Yellow/Red one in person at Chief last week. Brett was great to deal with, made the process easy. My fuse is one-piece. Will be going with a k140. Very impressed with it so far.
