It's called GLOBALISATION.

We are all addicted the cheap stuff. Made by people who earn $2.00 per day.

I hope the gear has been improved compared to the original Spark products that had to be modified just so they would not twist. I wonder if the new gear rotates upon retraction?

My Tamjets/BVM F18F was a good plane but it was a little heavy. The gear were never scale and the nose gear retraction was sometimes difficult. I hope these things are more reliable in this version. Love the F.

Ddennison. Check out this YouTube video. The gear is totally redesigned from the old stuff. It appears to be much more scale. Not the typical narrow gear we find on most f-18s

That was great, thanks!

Hope the gear might look as nice as the SM 1/5, trying to decide which one....

It would be nice if the product bvm is selling was priced like the original Chinese kit...these plug n play jets have a hefty price tag imo.

Especially with the $40 Power HD servos they are coming with. Great servos, but are being upsold like mad. I'll take one without servos, and no UAT, and add my own for that kind of price.

As long as BVM has their name on it the prices will be high no matter what!

Has anyone purchased one of these? It's not even listed on the BVM website. They've launched many other PNP planes since this plane was "leaked".

Isn't BVM now Jet Legend??? Meaning, doesn't JL own BVM?? Not sure it was ever confirmed, but thats what I thought everyone was intimating???

All Bob has said was "an Asian investor", but several people who know Bob, have told me it is JL. Until Bob says so, I guess it's still a bit of conjecture.

Well Bob is planning on hanging around for awhile. I'd say the first thing I noticed was a price drop on models. I've got the PNP 1/6 F-16 and that was $7745.00 from BVM plus $650.00 in shipping. It's now, the last time I looked, $6995.00 with free shipping. Certainly devalued my Thunderbird.... First it was my V-6 Diesel powered VW and now this.... lol

Just like my PNP Cougar. My plane, to me, is worth much more though. A great flying, hyper engineered, safe airplane that looks super scale. We also own a 1/6 F-16 TB which my son flies. They've both devalued about the same but we still love them.

That's where I got all those pics that I've posted earlier. I was just curious why they had it set up at the BVM tent at Florida Jets in January of this year and have heard nothing else unlike the Mirage F-1, 1/4 scale Yak, etc.

Kris said there were some issues. Maybe that explains it.

Devalued!? HA! I never looked at my jets as an investment but more like a wonderful waste of money.

First one had issues and crashed. They made corrections from what I hear and are probably flying a prototype by now I would assume. This is the best part about BVM is they test it so the customer does not have to beta test.
